Do Now 1/2/14

My Reflection on the year of 2013 is, This year was little hard for me. I had faced some difficulties in that year. But I had managed to move on and work past it with the help of my mother. I am very thankful for making new friends like Ralf Turka, Hector, Angelo and of course Anthony Trano.  Changes and goals I have for this new year will be amazing and life changing. I will focus on losing weight and keeping up the great school work. I plan to save as much money as possible for MDW, Spring Break, and the weekend after Prom.

Twitter In Education
Twitter can be used in Education by communicating with
your teachers, classmates after school hours. For example, if you may had forgotten you had homework due tomorrow, and you do not know it, you can tweet our fellow classmates or your teacher and asking them using the hashtag(#). Twitter could be a problem for using education, because you may tweet a status or a picture that is not school appropriate, and your teacher may see it, and report you the next day to your schools' principal.

Portable hydrogen fuel cell can recharge your phone, but it’s still too expensive for mass adoption
UPP diagram highlighting its features and design

For over a decade, portable fuel cells makers have been promising that they were about to become economical for mobile and remote applications.

  • The Upp is a $200 2-piece device that comprises one half that turns the fuel into energy, aka the “engine,” and the other half that serves as a hydrogen “fuel tank.”
  •  The Upp unit features a single USB output, so users can simply plug in their existing USB charging cables.
  • Unique to the Upp is a companion smartphone app that provides information both on the status of the fuel cell and on where you can purchase more fuel.
  • Like the PowerTrekk, Upp uses PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane, aka Polymer Electrolyte Membrane) to generate electricity.
  • The result is that, at least for now, the market for products like the Upp will be limited to areas that are so remote, or have such poor transportation, that sending batteries off to be recharged isn’t an option.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
                                                                              -Mahatma Gandhi

The things that ignite myself to help make this world a better place is to give back to my community, my family, and my country. My life goals not only fulfill my own needs but contributes to the community, because I would be giving back to my town and to my country. In that case I am joining the United States Army, and fight for my country's safety. I will fight to keep my familys' honor.
